Policy details

Draft — pending legal review

Draft updated: 06 October 2026. This date records the content update, not legal approval or a statutory effective date.

Who handles your information

The operator is Vermaverse OPC Private Limited, Media Division, G3, 1st Floor, Sarala Complex, Kadma Market, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – 831005. Janpariprekshya Darpan and VMN News are media properties, not separate legal entities. This notice covers this website; following a link to VMNNews.com or another website takes you to that site's own services and privacy practices.

Enquiries, subscriptions and printed-issue orders

The enquiry form collects your name, email, mobile number, optional organisation, category, subject and message to route and answer your request. Subscription requests collect your name, email, mobile, postal address, city, state, PIN and selected plan. Media Store orders also record the printed issue, quantity and order reference. Staff use these records to review requests, arrange delivery and maintain order history. Submitting a request does not automatically activate a subscription or complete a sale.

Advertising and billing information

Print and VMN digital advertising collect advertiser and company details, email, mobile, billing address, GSTIN where supplied, billing/recipient and place-of-supply details, placement or issue choices, campaign dates, declarations and creative files. Digital campaigns also record the destination URL and desktop/mobile creative versions. We use these details for enquiries, inventory holds, creative review, billing, payment verification and campaign administration. A GSTIN entered here is not proof that registration has been checked against the official GST database.

Corrections, grievances and supporting documents

Correction requests record edition, issue month, page and publication date where supplied, headline or URL, concern, supporting evidence and your contact details. Grievances additionally record the media property, category, postal address if supplied, date you became aware of the content, requested resolution, declaration and uploaded documents. These records support review and communication. Grievance documents are kept in private storage and opened through temporary staff-only links; document access and case actions are logged. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or unrelated personal information about yourself or others.

Newspaper subscription and circulation enquiries

The newspaper subscription page records name, mobile number, optional email, subscriber category, language, subscription type, state, district, city, locality, PIN code, preferred duration, start date, number of copies, optional instructions, callback request and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term). A full delivery address is kept only when the PIN is in a verified, active print delivery zone; otherwise the location is stored as a request to extend delivery to that area, which is not a delivery promise. Processing consent is required to submit; promotional consent is a separate, optional choice and is never assumed. Mobile numbers are verified by subscription staff calling back. Only staff with subscription-management permission can view these records.

Payments and financial records

Razorpay receives the payment order, amount, currency, booking reference and checkout prefill name/email. You enter payment-method information in Razorpay's checkout, not in this site's enquiry forms. This site stores payment order and transaction references, amounts, status and verification information, together with billing and invoice records where applicable. Payment order creation and capture confirmation are checked on the server. Razorpay handles payment-method information under its own terms and privacy notice.

Who can access records

Operational records are accessible to authorised staff according to their role, including the advertising, subscription, finance, editorial, grievance and legal teams as appropriate. Administrative changes and reviews produce audit records. Lovable Cloud provides the application's hosting, records and file storage; Razorpay provides checkout. Information needed for a service is processed by those services. Customer contact details, grievance evidence and draft creatives are not published as a public directory. Approved advertising creatives and published E-Paper files are intentionally available to visitors.

Staff use of AI for enquiries

Authorised staff can paste enquiry text into an AI-assisted enquiry tool. The pasted text, which may contain contact details, is sent through the Lovable AI service to analyse intent, identify missing details and draft a response. The source text, extracted details and generated draft are saved in that staff member's restricted history. This is a staff-initiated action, not automatic analysis of every submitted form. AI drafts do not themselves approve a booking or publish content. No promise about provider training or retention is made by this notice.

Browser storage, technical information and ad measurements

Staff sign-in uses persistent browser session storage. The site also loads web fonts from Google and loads Razorpay checkout when payment is started; these requests expose ordinary connection information to those providers. Error reporting, when available, includes the error message, stack and page path. VMN ad-delivery endpoints, when used by an integrated page, record campaign, event date, device category and a daily hashed identifier derived from connection IP and browser user-agent to deduplicate impressions and clicks. Hashing does not mean the data is anonymous. These events support campaign reports, not a guarantee of unique people or viewable impressions.

Retention and requests about your information

The current workflows do not define a fixed automatic deletion period. Submissions, creative versions, review histories and financial/audit records remain stored until dealt with through authorised administration; this notice does not promise automatic expiry or deletion. You may ask the Grievance Officer for access to, correction of, or deletion of information you supplied. Please identify the relevant reference without sending payment credentials. Requests must be reviewed, including any record-preservation or accounting requirements; deletion is not guaranteed for issued documents or audit history. No automatic self-service data erasure is offered.

Facebook advertising measurement

The Meta Pixel shares page views, successful newspaper subscription enquiries (Lead), and server-verified subscription payments (Purchase, including paid amount and INR currency) with Meta Platforms for advertising measurement and optimization. Browser/device information, IP address and Meta cookies may accompany events. Names, phone numbers and emails are not sent; automatic form matching is disabled. Payment checkout pages containing contact details are excluded from Pixel page tracking. Consent choices, time, region and notice version are stored in the browser; rejection overrides regional defaults and can be recorded or withdrawn through Cookie settings. Consent-required or unknown regions are blocked until acceptance. These events are not proof of campaign attribution or qualified readers.

Privacy contact

Contact Dr. Rajshree Verma at rajshreeverma@vermaverse.com or 0657-4506627, or submit a Privacy / Personal Data grievance through Grievance Redressal. A grievance reference confirms receipt, not resolution. Fixed response deadlines and email-delivery guarantees are not stated here because they have not been verified and configured.
