Copyright Policy

Rights relating to E-Paper editions, approved brand artwork, submitted creatives and requests to reuse or challenge material.

Policy details

Draft — pending legal review

Draft updated: 06 October 2026. This date records the content update, not legal approval or a statutory effective date.

Reading is not a republication licence

Published E-Papers and covers are available for reading and PDF download. A downloadable PDF or temporary file link does not transfer copyright or grant permission to redistribute, reproduce commercially or republish the edition. Rights remain with the relevant rights holders, subject to applicable law.

Brand and documentary material

The official Janpariprekshya Darpan and VMN News logos, approved Founder portrait and registration documents are presented as institutional material. Their public availability does not authorise altered logos, fabricated certificates, endorsements or misleading use of identity. Contact the Media Division for reuse permission rather than assuming a licence from visibility on the site.

Your submissions

Supply only creatives, articles, photographs, videos or supporting documents you own or have permission to submit for the stated purpose. Disclose copyright owners, licences and restrictions. Uploading a creative for review is not a guarantee of publication or an unlimited transfer of rights; any additional usage permission must be agreed for the intended publication or campaign.

Rights concerns

Use the Copyright / Intellectual Property grievance category with the content title/URL or issue/page reference, the rights you claim, supporting evidence and requested resolution. Supporting grievance files remain private to authorised review. Receipt does not trigger automatic removal, and staff must preserve relevant content and decision records when assessing a rights concern.
