Cancellation & Refund Policy

How staff review cancellation and refund requests for subscriptions, printed-issue orders and advertising bookings.

Policy details

Draft — pending legal review

Draft updated: 06 October 2026. This date records the content update, not legal approval or a statutory effective date.

How to request a review

Use Contact Us with the subscription, order or advertising reference, the email used in the request, reason and payment transaction reference if paid. Do not send card details, UPI PINs, passwords or payment secrets. There is no self-service cancel/refund button or automatic refund timetable in the present public workflows.

Unpaid requests and expired holds

An unpaid submission is not proof of a completed purchase. Temporary advertising holds can expire and cease to be eligible for payment. Hold expiry or an unavailable slot is not evidence that a payment was taken, cancelled or refunded; staff must check the payment record separately.

Paid advertising and physical orders

Staff assess payment verification, creative-review stage, confirmed schedule, production lock, publication and delivery status as applicable. Store requests need confirmation of price, stock and shipping before fulfilment. No cancellation percentage, non-refundable deposit, shipping refund formula or guaranteed refund deadline is invented here. Any communicated charges or refund decision must be supported by the approved order terms and applicable requirements.

Failed confirmation and financial records

If checkout fails or payment confirmation is incomplete after an apparent debit, contact the desk with the reference before paying again. A refund request, initiated refund and completed refund are different states. Staff must verify completion; a review note is not proof that funds reached your bank. Issued invoice history is preserved, and any required adjustment is handled through finance records rather than deleting or overwriting the original invoice.
